We were contracted to overhaul a rather tired and neglected garden, in which over a third was paved in unsympathetic slate paving. Recycling was important to the client and so we reused the slate to create a unique border edging, a deck was transformed into raised bedding for vegetables and clay bricks were used as risers for the new steps up to the garden room. Wide sweeping beds were introduced to wrap the house in planting and to make the garden feel wider and deeper.
What the client said:
"My garden needed a complete makeover, and I'm so glad that I found Naturally Inspired Gardens to help me create the garden I wanted.
Kenny managed to recycle existing slabbing and decking to create new features, and incorporate planting that could cope with an exposed coastal site as well as a large area of dry shade under mature trees. Throughout the process, he was there to advise and manage the project, keeping the landscapers on track and personally undertaking the layout and planting. The end result is fantastic, and getting there was remarkably stress free.
Kenny captured exactly what I was looking for, and designed an individual and beautiful garden that I know will give me and my friends and family many years of pleasure."
