Two semi circular terraces with borders were designed, using random sandstone walling as retaining walls, immediately outside a newly built garden room. This allowed us to use the height difference in the garden to best effect and to bring nature right into a garden room. The terrace steps give access onto a circular lawn surrounded with roses and lavender that in turn leads to a path to the rear of the garden where a magnificent specimen magnolia acted as a focal point.
